Main events in the artistic lives of Irina and Vladislav Vashchenko

1979
- Produced an act to the music from the movie "Ovod" by D.Shostakovich.
Pedagogue - honored artist of Russia Olga P. Grabovskaya. Created a unique
trick - "backbend on pointes". As far as Irina knows, she is still the only
artist in the world performing this act.

1979
- Duo act (music: A. Glazunov "Sheet from the Album" and S.Cincadze "Demon") -
"Fight between Good and Evil". The act was produced by honored ballet-master
of Russia V.N.Kravchenko. In 1981 this act (with music) became a part of the
circus show "Prometheus" produced by V.V.Volzhansky.

1984
- A solo contortion act by Irina was transformed into the act "Sacred Fire". Since that time Irina's solo act has been a part of the show "Prometheus".

1988
- After the death of V.V.Volzhansky the show "Prometheus" was disbanded.
Irina and Vladislav produced a new act "Lyrical Duo" (music: J.Massenet
"Reflection", later T.Albinoni "Adagio"). This act is a synthesis of two
genres - solo contortion and acrobatic duo.

Now
The Vashchenkos perform five acts.
Solo contortion (Irina).
Acrobatic duo and mixed act: solo contortion and duo (Irina and Vladislav)
Hula hoop (Irina)
juggler-acrobat (Vladimir Vashchenko - son of Irina and Vladislav).
